Budding Creative
Each day, five-year-old me would cover the 20 giant glass panels in front of our family home with every idea I could imagine. Every evening, my mother would rinse them clean with a garden hose.
2017
Visual Snow Syndrome
Confined to a small space with a violent wood stain, I was altered forever. Emerging from a toxic trap of my own making, my vision was set ablaze with a permanent film of shimmering stars. From that moment on, I would never see smooth gradients again.
2021
The Puzzle Piece Clicks
At 28 years old, in a restaurant storage shed, I painted again—perhaps in pursuit of my own sanity. The work flowed freely, unburdened by inhibition or my suffocating need for control. It was here I realized my "visual death sentence" had been framed through the wrong lens.I had always been good at art. Visual Snow made me great.
